Yes, even the direct sales make-up company had a virtual pet, in the form of a watch. It was truly a trend, wasn’t it?
There are two versions of this pet: A dinosaur, and a dog. Functions are: feeding, which lets you chose between four different foods: rice, candy, drink, and pineapple; lights function; there are two games: left-right game and slots; medicine; cleaning; stats–uses icons for meters; discipline; and an unselectable attention icon. It starts out as a blob, and over time will turn into a handsome little t-rex fellow.
This pet isn’t too demanding overall, despite what it would like you to believe. See, unlike most vpets I’ve played, this one doesn’t beep when its meters reach zero–it beeps every time one of them decreases. This is, as you might expect, extremely annoying. However, as far as I can tell, there are no penalties for letting the meters go below full, so as long as you check it periodically and fill them up every now and then, it should be fine. The beeping, however, sounds a lot like a microwave oven going off, so I’ve taken to muting the sounds on this one while running it.
Another unusual thing about this one is that you can cancel out the attention icon if there’s no mess on the screen and the meters aren’t completely empty. To do this, you just press the C button, and the icon will deselect until the next time it goes off.

We found one new in package and my daughter is using it but we can’t figure out what the little ghost like thing in the upper corner means. Please help!
Hey there! The icon in the upper right corner is actually a syringe, and it’s the medical function. The pet should refuse until it’s actually needed, at which point you should be able to select it and get a healing animation instead of the “shaking head no” animation.
If you’re talking about a pixelated ghost coming out of a grave-looking thing, it probably means that the pet has died and you’d need to press the restart button on the back to get a new pet.
